Internment camps in the U.S. were periodically inspected by representatives of a neutral nation, to see that facilities were adequate and internees were treated appropriately. This report details a visit made between January 29-31, 1943, by W.C. Bruppacker, a representative of the Swiss legation, Department of German Interests, and P.W. Herrick, a member of the Department of State, Special Division.
